Our Choreographer, Jenna Smith is a recipient Dreamstarter grantee with Billy Mill’s Running Strong for American Indian Youth.
In April of 2016, Jenna and her mentor were invited to Washington, DC Dreamstarter Academy, where all 10 Dreamstarters and their Mentors gathered with Billy Mills and the Running Strong staff.
In September of 2016 she began using the grant to take ballet into the public school system. She spends one or two weeks at each school teaching ballet during their PE classes. Most of the children are in 1st through 4th grades.
